"Is God Real?"

"Is God Real?"
The Doctor had told Cynthia she may never be able to carry a baby for nine months since her uterus was tilted and had five previous miscarriages.  She had gone to the Doctor because of abnormal bleeding. Yet, the records of two women had been changed. It was Cynthia who was pregnant. The sudden urge to go urinate overcame her as she passed out.  The nurse across the street was called over. The baby had to be placed in a plastic bag.  An Ambulance took her to the A.F.B. hospital.  We are losing her..no blood pressure! He had told Lavonne he was taking her to Surgery. "What about the baby?" he asked. Too late.
Finally after surgery Cynthia woke up to cramping and extreme pain. Lavonne had to tell her about the loss. The tears could not be held back any longer as the flood of grief took over her emotionally.

Over time a mammogram was needed. She heard a small voice saying "NO." Instead, she had a pregnancy test at the next window. They told her to go home, and they would call her if she was pregnant. She awoke to the telephone ringing. Great news! she dialed Lavonne's work and told him of the blessing.
She was told not to work. When she was in her second trimester the baby went into the birth canal making it possible to miscarry again. She was given strict orders: Stay in the bed. Tilt the bed up from the bottom, if any signs of bleeding, pain occurs she should immediately go to the "Woman's Pavilion." She was due March 15 and it was in May when major problems began and stayed in the hospital for six months. The Doctor could not believe she had not effaced or dilated as he explained the nearest neonatal hospital was in New Orleans, La. He added an alcohol drip to keep her and the baby relaxed. On January 16, 1976 she began having the pain of her life. Nurses rushed in and gave Demerol in the veins. Cynthia stopped breathing. She began a journey out of body walking underneath the shade of trees. Taking her time and looking around noticed this peaceful, serene, and safe feeling. Once she reached a brightness of the rays from the sun sparkling everywhere heard a voice which said, "Go back!" "I don't want to leave this place." The angel stood next to this great ball of light. "Go!"She woke up to a nurse using the paddles saying come on now come back to us.  We held each other for a long time. Midnight was here with a bang; a spinal block was given. She was alert until she heard the Doctor saying, "Breath baby breath."  Cynthia cried, "I want to see my baby!" "Is it dead?"  "What am I not being told?"  Finally, a nurse who had an instant camera told her to look at the picture. There, the baby was in an oxygen tank and hooked up to all kinds of wiring. She weighed five lbs. and four ounces. Also, only eighteen inches long. She had no eyelashes, eyebrows, toenails, fingernails, and was so tiny she could only wear baby doll clothes.

Cynthia was so assured it was "God" who made this miracle happen. So, how can people think there is no God?
